The first Sylvan Borzoi arrived in late 1974. Sascha opened up a long-awaited dog relationship, as well as the world of purebred dog competition on many levels. A couple of years later, she was joined by Cheddar, then Pekoe, who became the foundation bitch for the fledgling kennel.

We are working on chronicling over 40 years of our history. The early links are the most complete as they are slowly being converted from our older website, but improvements are being made on a very regular basis. The living Borzoi at home are our first priority so often computer work has to wait!
