Ch. Sylvan Grey Poupon (Ch. Sky Run Along for the Ride x Ch. Sylvan Kalan 'n Krem) Grey Poupon went to the National Specialy in Rhode Island in April, and showed much of her younger form at age 13, the oldest Borzoi there. She had a wonderful time on the trip, working the crowd, and showing off to all.  This photo was taken in the veterans class by
Tom Kasowski.Poupon started her puppy career with a major Reserve, and soon after her first birthday won her own major. She finished 6 months later with a 5 point supported entry win. Both majors came from breeder-judges. Because Poupon came of age when we already had a strong special in competition, she was only back in the ring a few times at Specialties. She had a litter born June 16th, 2001, sired by Ch. Seabury's Celtic Warrior and co-bred with Shea Bailey and Steve Combs at Wayfarer Borzoi. A son, Wayfarer Sylvan Nautilus, is major pointed and daughter, Wayfarer Sylvan Odyssey JC, F.Ch. is doing well in the field. Littermates include: Click for pedigree Born March 31, 1994 |
