Chrystal was pointed at her first show as a puppy. She was second in the Bred By Exhibitor class to the eventual Winners Bitch at the 1997 National, and earned a second major in August. She finished in real style with BOB at the November BCOA Supported Entry in Ocala over 60 Borzoi and went on to place second in the Hound Group.

Chrystal started 1998 with a BANG, taking 5 out of 8 Bests of Breed on the competitive January Circuit, and winning Group IIIs in the two largest shows, and another Group III in Atlanta at month's end. Since then she has continued to win in the Group, and in October of 1998, became an all-breed BEST IN SHOW winner!

She was in the Top Ten, all-breed points for most of 1999 as well.

At the 2004 BCOA Centennial National Specialty in Cincinnati, Chrystal was Best in Veteran Sweepstakes in an awesome entry of her peers.

Chrystal whelped 7 boys on Labor Day, 2000, sired by Ch. Oaklara's Shadow of the Moon. Those pups are:
