Ch. JAY SeaburyJP Affectionately
(Am/Can/Jap Ch. Seabury's Chrisma ROMX-C x Am/Jap Ch. Seabury's Lauralei)
The beautiful red Nara joined our kennel in January of 1999, generously shared by Dr. Jim Sillers of Seabury Borzoi. She's had a wonderful show career, winning over 25 Hound Groups, Best of Breed at Westminster, and both Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex at National Specialties.

In 2001, she was bred to Ch.
Seabury's Celtic Warrior and produced:
We kept Nara in show coat through her whelping and nursing time (we DON'T recommend this, and would not do it again...) She was back in the ring and placed in the Group when her puppies were 7 weeks old. As remarkable as her coat is, she still shed most of it starting around 9 - 10 week postpartum, like any other mother.
Nara has been shown limitedly since then. At age 7, she won another Hound Group, the Borzoi Club of Greater New York and Best of Opposite Sex at the National Specialty. Toward the end of 2002, she came out for a Veteran class at a supported entry, went on to BOB and another Group placement.
Nara was born in Kobe City, Japan during the earthquake of 1995, bred by Jay Ito. Her parents were Top 10 winners in America and Japan.
