Sylvan Eleonora
Eleonora won BOS for a major over a special her first weekend out as a puppy. A few more outings brought her to 9 points. She placed second behind her sister, Sylvan Ridgeside Sunset, in the National Sweepstakes and won her class as well as Best of Opposite Sex in the Futurity.

Eleonora was shown a couple of times in February, without Borzoi competition, but placed twice in the owner-handled Group and was Reserve Best OH in Show. It seldom happens that an especially nice win is matched with an equally good win photo, but this is one!
​
At the 2017 National, she place 3rd in a large Bred-By class. In July, she picked up a tough major in Houston, leaving her a few singles from her title.

Tragically, we lost Eleonora a few months later to an obscure fungal infection.
