Rembrandt was an early winner, taking 7 points as a puppy. He placed well at Specialties and Sweepstakes and earned his first major at 16 months.

Our friend Allison Morhard had been without a Borzoi for a year or so and convinced us that he would have a great life as an obedience and therapy dog so he moved to South Carolina in the Spring of 1997. Within a month, she showed him to 5 more points and his final major.

A few years later, Rembrandt moved with his family to Finland, where his brother Checkmate also lived. He competed occasionally in Finnish dog shows.

​

We shared the joys and the work of breeding and raising this second "CH" litter with Shawn and Tammy (Cook) Smith of Monarch Borzoi.
