Grey Poupon went to the National Specialty in Rhode Island in April 2007, and showed much of her younger form at age 13, the oldest Borzoi there. She had a wonderful time on the trip, working the crowd, and showing off to all.

Poupon started her puppy career with a major Reserve, and soon after her first birthday won her own major. She finished 6 months later with a 5 point supported entry win. Both majors came from breeder-judges.

​

Because Poupon came of age when we already had a strong special in competition, she was only back in the ring a few times at Specialties.

​

She had a litter born June 16th, 2001, sired by Ch. Seabury's Celtic Warrior and co-bred with Shea Bailey and Steve Combs at Wayfarer Borzoi.  A son, Wayfarer Sylvan Nautilus, was major pointed and daughter, Wayfarer Sylvan Odyssey JC, FCh did well in the field and lived to be nearly 15.
