Family Additions
Some wonderful Borzoi from other kennels joined our family over the years, and others have been shared with us for a brief time by their breeders. Some of them have contributed to our pedigrees. All have enriched our lives and brought us joy.

Sophie came to us to be shown at 11 months and won three majors and 12 points just after her first birthday. A few months later, she was Reserve Winners Bitch at the 1985 National Specialty.
Her littermates include the Group winning Ch. Astafiev Proud of Himself, and Ch. Astafiev Winter Rhapsody.

We had admired Tempo in the show ring and were fortunate to be able to lease her for two co-bred litters with Robin Smoot Sisson. We showed Tempo to her finishing major then bred her to our Ch. Astafiev Windwalker. Her puppies from that 1988 litter include:
