Virago's look-alike son Rex is owned by Phyllis Potter and Patricia Wiseman in Washington State.

Though his entries missed for the regular and sweeps classes at the National specialty, Rex won the 9-12 Futurity class. He is pictured at 10 months, changing coat.

At 13 months, Rex went to Lompoc, where he was Best Dog in Sweeps at the Friday specialty, and Sunday, won the major from the 12-18 dog class. He is the fourth youngster to earn a major from his litter.

The following weekend, at the Western Washington Hound Association, Rex was Winners Dog again for 2 more points.

Rex took some time off from the ring to mature, then came back out in August 2010 to win at the PSBC Specialty and finish in style.
