Here's the upper half of the farm from above, taken around 1992. All of the trees and landscaping are much larger and more beautiful now.

The area behind the house to the treeline is cross fenced for the youngsters, who, if left free full time, will remove our belongings from the garage and drop them in the pond. To be afforded full time freedom, the Borzoi must be civilized enough to play with their own toys, and be well trained enough not to run out the front gate when we come home in the the van. That usually takes about 15 to 18 months.

The pond does not usually have a beach, but there was a drought at the time this photo was taken. The front part of the farm is more park-like, with lots of large trees. Woods are to the west, vegetable crops and pasture to the north, and the land to the east grows hay and cattle.
